Children’s Academy is an integrated, multidisciplinary kindergarten through 12th grade nonprofit school.

We exist to educate children with speech and language challenges and learning differences in an expansive social environment, through a collaborative evidence-based model recognizing the individuality of each child. We strive to develop a love of learning, friendships, expression, understanding and self- advocacy.

 

We strongly believe in the academic & communicative potential of all children and strive to ensure that our students realize their full capabilities.

Children’s Academy is made up of a team of highly skilled professionals, and as a speech and language school, the speech department plays a vital role. We are a department of 12 extremely passionate and talented SLPs, and it is our hope that through this newsletter, we can showcase what we do on a daily basis. Our annual Read-A-Thon is officially live! October 30th and runs through Friday, November 10th!

Our annual Read-A-Thon is officially live today, October 30th and runs through Friday, November 10th! We will be raising funds this year for classroom furniture and asphalt flooring for the courtyard (both much needed for the school!).  Our fundraising goal this year is $6,000.   Check out the CA fundraising page here:  CA Read-A-Thon 🍕Win a pizza party!  The class that raises the most funds will win a pizza party a the end of the Read-A-Thon.  The class that logs the most minutes read will also win a pizza party.🍕
