The Children We Serve

Student Independence

A Children's Academy student demonstrates social motivation and developing social skills, seeks out peer interactions, is toilet trained, is an independent eater and is able to participate in small group learning with appropriate support
We are not an ABA school and do not utilize behavioral therapy. Rather our students benefit from a 12-month language-enriched multi-disciplinary teaching environment that focuses on small group learning.

Our Students

A typical Children's Academy student has struggled in a school setting as a result of one or more of the following: language-based learning disability (apraxia, pragmatic language delay & social skills delay, dyslexia, expressive & receptive language delays, reading and writing disorders) executive function disorder with sensory processing gross and fine motor coordination issues
